Christ is Risen, truly Risen!

A happy and blessed Easter to all of you! We are privileged to know that our Lord Jesus Christ, by undertaking the Paschal mysteries of His Passion, Death and Resurrection has offered us an opportunity to overcome the evil one and his snares – triumph even over death – and return to our heavenly homeland with His Church and His Sacraments to guide us there and ensure safe passage through the trials and difficulties of this life. We are the people of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. Redeemed by the blood of the spotless Lamb. It is an awesome thing to meditate on the love that God shows us through the Easter celebrations.

A heartfelt welcome to those who were fully initiated into the Church, we are glad to have you as part of our Catholic family. Congratulations also to those who took the next step in their faith through confirmation.

I want to express my thanks to all who participated in the triduum and those who took the time to take part in the sacrament of confession to prepare well for Easter, it is always a joy to celebrate the sacrament for you. Many thanks to those who helped with the flowers, did the beautiful decorating, prepared the music and our altar servers as well. What a blessing that so much time and talent was shared with the parish.
